Steven P. Schmidt, M.D.
Dr. Schmidt received his medical degree as well as his General Surgery residency training from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He practices General Surgery in the Air Force prior to completing his Plastic Surgery residency training at Wilford Hall, USAF Medical Center. While on active duty, he received the Surgeon General’s award. He is fully trained and has experience in cosmetic surgery, skin cancer excision and reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and lower extremity reconstruction. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Matthew J. Fox, M.D.
Dr. Fox received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine. His training consisted of general surgery residency at Akron General Medical Center. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. Dr. Fox also completed two additional fellowships in surgery of the hand and aesthetic surgery at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He is board-certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Jason T. Hedrick, M.D.
Dr. Hedrick received his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. Dr. Hedrick completed the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Cincinnati as well as a General Surgery Residency at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. Dr. Hedrick’s Plastic Surgery clinical training experience and expertise includes cosmetic surgery, breast reconstruction including microvascular breast reconstruction, facial trauma and skin lesions. He was recognized as the Outstanding Resident of the Year (2008 thru 2010) in the Academy of Medicine, Resident Teacher and Trauma Residency categories. He is board-certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Andrew J. Parrish, M.D.
Before joining Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton, Inc., Dr. Parrish received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Taylor University, graduating summa cum laude. He received his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. He completed the Plastic Surgery Residency program at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2024. Amongst other achievements, Dr. Parrish has been honored with the Academic Achievement Award from WSU BSOM Department of Plastic & Orthopedic Surgery multiple times during his residency. Dr. Parrish’s clinical interests include caring for patients with both reconstructive and cosmetic concerns, with focus on facial and body aesthetics, skin cancer reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and facial trauma reconstruction. He is a candidate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of American Medical Association.
Jessica M. Brown, APRN-CNP
Jessica received her Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University in Tennessee. Having more than 20 years of patient care experience in hospital, breast, cancer risk and survivorship centers as well as a primary care settings, Jessica joined our practice in 2019. She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
